Job summary

A prominent organization in Grapevine, Texas is seeking an HVAC Foreman. Description

HVAC Foreman is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and trade partners. The Foreman supervises employees and ensures a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems. The position is onsite and requires out of state travel.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure work site compliance with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols.
  • Ensure materials, installation, and schedules are met.
  • Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to stay aware of expected installation dates.
  • Request and coordinate HVAC material and equipment needs with purchasing department and/or project management.
  • Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site, general contractor, and project manager.
  • Check options and equipment list to ensure material is correct.
  • Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
  • Lay out crews to install material on scheduled dates.
  • Attend and participate in GC meetings.
  • Conduct weekly inspections and safety meetings; provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RMC Safety team.
  • Complete all required job reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Walk job constantly to follow up with installers.
  • Schedule and direct quality control technician daily, communicate with technician constantly to maintain schedule.
  • Identify problems that need to be corrected.
  • Follow up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.
  • Maintain open and positive communication with General Contractor, Project Manager and field employees.
  • Manage sub‑contractors, ensuring work meets contract and company requirements.
  • Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards, and government regulations.
  • Installation of HVAC systems.
  • Complete daily work orders as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
  • Installation of HVAC materials, equipment, and appropriately matched systems.
  • Work cooperatively with other trades.
  • Team building skills.
  • Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Effective verbal, presentation, and listening communication skills.
  • Effective negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 suite and custom accounting software.

  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial, and industrial.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • 5 or more years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
