Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is seeking an HVAC position with a 261-day work year. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a clear driving record, and ability to speak and understand English. The technician will perform HVAC maintenance, filter changes, and basic repairs district-wide, following safety procedures.

The position involves reading floor plans, maintaining schedules and logs, and coordinating with the Foreman. Lifting up to 75 pounds and variable shifts are required.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have clear and acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver’s requirements.
• Must be able to speak and understand the English language.

• Perform work in a thorough and neat manor in accordance with industry standards codes and laws.
• Perform HVAC filter changing throughout the District as required.
• Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment in a clean, first class, efficient operating condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand building floor plans and maps.
• Maintain filter replacement schedule.
• Complete work order paperwork daily.
• Maintain and update filter information as needed.
• Maintain truck inventory of filters.
• Place filter orders for all district facilities.
• Follow department procedures for PPE and Safety.
• Update Foreman to any equipment deficiencies observed.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.
