Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is expanding in the Greater Hartford area and seeks an experienced HVAC technician. You will perform maintenance and repair on residential heating and cooling systems, diagnose issues, and explain repair options to homeowners without high-pressure sales tactics.

You’ll work with a team, document visits, and uphold craftsmanship and integrity while growing into leadership roles as the company expands.

Qualifications

Hands‑on HVAC service, troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair experience.
Residential background preferred; light-commercial and facilities experience welcome.
Curiosity, pride in your craft, and clear communication.
No management experience required—technical excellence first, leadership opportunities as we grow.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
Use electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to pinpoint issues and verify proper operation.
Educate homeowners on system performance and repair choices.
Document each visit, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and keep your vehicle/work areas organized.
Prioritize accuracy, craftsmanship, and integrity—no high-pressure sales culture.
