Job summary

Oncourse Home Solutions is seeking a field-based HVAC Service Technician to service residential systems in the Naperville, IL area. The role includes responding to dispatch work, traveling to customer locations, and promoting warranty products to customers.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or HVAC certification, with at least 1 year of HVAC experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license for company vehicle use. Refrigerant handling certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or HVAC certification or vocational/skill training in HVAC.
• Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle and refrigerant handling certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with safety policies; calibrate gas Sensit monthly.
• Reclaim refrigerant for service in territory during air conditioning season.
• Repair furnaces, condensers, humidifiers and accessories with minimal assistance.
• Perform minor repairs on hydronic systems and start-up.
• Master electrical wiring of furnaces, condensers and thermostats (high/low voltage).
• Accurately bill customers, order parts and maintain paperwork using the FSA app.
