Job summary

Stark Tech is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across diverse settings. Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC installation, service, and maintenance across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC and ATC malfunctions.
• Experience with energy‑efficiency upgrades and system optimization.
• EPA 608 Certification for Refrigerants (required).
• Valid driver's license (location dependent).
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, laptops, and modern service technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs of HVAC systems according to design and customer requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, including HVAC and ATC systems, and perform necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Commission new systems, ensuring proper installation and operation from start-up to final inspection.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing technical expertise and resolving issues efficiently.
• Repair and maintain generators as needed to support critical facility operations.
• Recharge refrigerant, check for leaks, and ensure correct functioning of air conditioning and refrigeration cycles.
• Complete warranty work and routine maintenance tasks to maximize HVAC system reliability and performance.
• Install energy-efficiency upgrades, such as smart thermostats and duct sealing, to improve building sustainability.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
