Job summary

BreezeFix is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and service residential and commercial systems in Missouri. You will perform preventative maintenance, read blueprints and schematics, and communicate repair plans clearly to customers while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. On-site field work, on-call rotations, and independent time management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC service, installation, or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record - DMV background check required.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening/test.
• EPA Universal Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, thermostats, and related mechanical components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective components, including motors, compressors, controls, valves, and electrical systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers and management.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency service calls as required.
