Job summary

Rasmussen Mechanical Services in South Dakota is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform service calls on boiler, burner, and HVAC equipment, including installations and preventive maintenance, with a focus on safety and quality. You will maintain truck inventory, complete field paperwork, support sales efforts, and participate in on-call rotations.

A High School Diploma and Universal Refrigerant Certification, plus 3–5 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalence.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Three to five years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service including boiler/burner/HVAC installations, repair, service, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain truck inventory to prevent unneeded trips for parts and ensure accuracy of inventory and billing.
• Lead on-site efforts of employees and subcontractors in safe, timely progress of work.
• Fill out and submit paperwork: time reporting, service reports, inventory checks, daily Job Hazard Analysis, and other required reporting.
