Job summary

Thirty Madison Ventures in Gurnee, IL is hiring an HVAC Service Technician for a full-time role, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with a 30-minute break. The job includes a rotating 4-week on-call schedule and daily dispatch-based diagnostics and repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC experience and is proficient with forced air, mini-splits, heat pumps, and radiant boilers. A clean driving record and strong work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints.
• Comfortable working at heights/on rooftops for light commercial RTUs.
• Clean driving record and reliable attendance.
• Desire to grow into leadership or senior tech role.
• Proficient with forced air, mini-splits, heat pumps and radiant boilers (no steam).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Arrive at 7:30 AM to restock truck/parts and follow dispatch schedules.
• Participate in the 4-week rotating on-call schedule for weekend calls and maintenance agreements.
• Provide clear explanations of repairs and identify upgrade opportunities.
