Qualifications

• Hands-on field work with HVAC equipment.
• Experience in HVAC service, maintenance, installation, facilities, or contracting.

• Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on field training on product preparation and application.
• Train contractors, technicians, distributors, customers, and international partners.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys hands-on field work, solving problems, training others, and working directly with customers and contractors.

The HVAC Field Technical & Training Specialist will support the successful application of Coat Zone products at customer locations. A major part of this role involves hands-on field training, working directly with contractors, technicians, distributors, customers, and international partners.

This is not a traditional HVAC service technician or sales position. We are looking for someone with practical HVAC knowledge who can learn our products and become a trusted technical resource in the field. Coat Zone will provide full training on our products and application processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on field training on Coat Zone product preparation and application.
• Train contractors, technicians, distributors, customers, and international partners.
• Demonstrate proper application techniques at customer sites.
• Provide on-site support during product applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and navigate unexpected field conditions and obstacles.
• Inspect HVAC equipment and application areas before and during projects.
• Provide technical guidance relating to HVAC coils, condensers, air handlers, and related equipment.
• Ensure application teams follow Coat Zone specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate field observations, application issues, and customer feedback to management.
• Assist with training materials and field best practices.
• Represent Coat Zone professionally at customer facilities, training sessions, and projects.

• Practical, hands-on knowledge of commercial or industrial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Experience in HVAC service, maintenance, installation, facilities, or mechanical contracting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working around HVAC equipment and active job sites.
• Ability to learn Coat Zone products and confidently teach application processes to others.
• Comfortable providing hands-on technical demonstrations and training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful and able to think on your feet when unexpected challenges arise.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
• Comfortable working directly with contractors, technicians, facility personnel, and customers.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid passport, or ability to obtain one.
• Willing and able to travel throughout the U.S. and internationally.
• Preferred but not required: HVAC certifications, EPA certification, manufacturer training, testing and balancing experience, or experience with Carrier, Trane, York/Johnson Controls, Daikin, or similar equipment.
