Job summary

Lennox International seeks a training specialist to cover the West Coast with up to 80% travel. You will develop and deliver training for installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC products, troubleshoot inquiries, and refine course content and materials.

The role requires strong presentation and communication skills, plus experience in training and a solid technical background. Proficiency in MS Office and WebEx is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two year college degree, HVAC degree or equivalent.
• Requires at least 1 year training experience in addition to at least 5 years technical experience.
• Knowledge of learning theories applied to classroom settings.
• Strong presentation skills with various technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Some sales ability with track record of customer relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficient in leading WebEx meetings.

What Drives Success

• This position covers the West Coast territory with up to 80% travel.
• Under general supervision, develops and delivers training courses for training customers or technical employees in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC products.
• Troubleshoots technical inquiries.
• Identifies customer needs.Investigates and resolves technical inquiries.
• Assists in developing, testing, and maintaining courses and materials used in training.
• Assists in establishing course content and student learning objectives.
• May prepare course syllabus, lesson plans, and student manuals, and coordinate the development of training aids.
• Reviews problem areas and identifies training needs.
• Develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
• Updates course materials continuously to ensure timeliness and relevance.
• Conducts training using all methods of delivery.

What We Are Looking For

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer two year college degree, HVAC degree or equivalent.
• Requires at least 1 years relevant training experience in addition to at least 5 years technical experience.Advanced knowledge of assigned products and the application of diagnostic techniques and service aids.
• Knowledge and ability to apply learning theories to classroom situations.
• Developed presentation skills using a variety of technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Individual must have some sales ability along with a track record of fostering solid customer relationships.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $69,000 to 90,300annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
