Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning in Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee HVAC installation projects, coordinate with scheduling teams, and ensure quality workmanship on each job site.

Lead subcontractor crews, review progress, manage change orders, enforce safety, and build long-term relationships with builder superintendents to deliver reliable, on-time results for homeowners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC installation experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Beg/Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC installation projects and coordinate with scheduling teams.
• Walk job sites to verify readiness for rough-in and trim installations.
• Schedule and manage installation dates; ensure readiness of work.
• Monitor progress and ensure completion by subcontractors per phase.
• Review subcontractor invoices and approve upon completion.
• Schedule inspections with local jurisdictions when needed.
• Handle change orders and related paperwork in the field.
• Meet with builders to resolve installation/design issues.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce training across teams.
• Provide leadership to designated teams through clear objectives and communication.
• Address performance concerns with constructive feedback.
• Foster relationships with builder superintendents to drive quality and trust.
