Job summary

KCC is hiring an HVAC Field Solutions Specialist to support sophisticated commercial equipment. You will assist end users and field techs by phone, email, or on-site with engineers, diagnosing issues, and providing documentation. The role blends office work with hands-on tasks, and product training is provided.

Training is in-office for 6–9 months, with a hybrid option afterward. Applicants with a mechanical or electrical background are a great fit, with potential for career growth in HVAC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 2-5 years of experience working with HVAC equipment.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Technical degree, certification, HVAC certification, or related high-level education.
• Valid driver’s license and able to be added to company insurance for rental vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer inquiries related to HVAC equipment and systems.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding technical issues.
• Offer troubleshooting assistance to identify and resolve problems.
• Analyze and diagnose advanced technical issues related to HVAC systems.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve field support processes and procedures.
• Stay current with product specifications, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Optional travel with senior support personnel to jobsites for diagnostics.
