Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Service Technician to act as the technical expert ensuring our equipment operates optimally in Edmond, OK shop or on customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and repair equipment to exceed customer expectations.

The role involves installing, testing, and servicing rental gear, traveling to sites, and contributing to safety, quality, and documentation with a focus on top-notch customer support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience in HVAC/R, equipment service, field maintenance, or related area.
• Ability to read and apply electrical schematics & blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic).
• Great communication skills to explain technical issues to customers and teammates.
• Safety-first mindset and track record of working responsibly in shop or field settings.
• EPA Universal, CDL or HVAC certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• A clean driving record to be verified through MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair rental equipment in-house and at customer sites.
• Diagnose technical issues and resolve them efficiently or collaborate with team experts.
• Provide hands-on customer support and train users on proper equipment care.
• Maintain accurate service records using modern tools and systems.
• Travel to customer sites, support on-call rotations, and seasonal overtime as needed.
• Always put safety first on the road, in the shop, and at customer sites.
