Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. seeks a Journeyman HVAC Technician responsible for installing and maintaining heating and cooling systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, and hydronic components. You will test equipment, analyze data, and provide recommendations to customers to ensure optimal operation.

The role requires diagnosing issues, coordinating with repair teams, and adhering to safety procedures while maintaining a clean work area and accurate records. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years HVAC operation, maintenance and repair experience in HVAC/refrigeration.
• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques, electrical circuits and wiring, motors and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics and perform math.

Responsibilities

• Install, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including boilers, pumps, chillers, and hydronic components.
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safe operation and lifecycle performance.
• Perform routine repairs to pumps, seals, bearings, and related components.
• Inspect systems for compliance with plans and detect malfunctions.
• Record faults and time/materials on work orders and communicate with customers.
