Job summary

Munters is seeking an experienced HVAC Data Center Technician in Ohio to support critical cooling equipment at customer sites across the United States. The role involves troubleshooting, startup, commissioning, and service work with up to 90% travel by plane or vehicle.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC experience, strong refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a Universal Refrigeration Certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC/mechanical experience (commercial/industrial).
• Strong refrigeration troubleshooting including pressure testing, evacuation, charging.
• Universal Refrigeration Certification/Card required.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and controls/PLC knowledge.
• Read electrical information and diagnose system issues.
• Experience brazing and soldering.
• Knowledge of Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Start up, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and service Munters Data Center equipment.
• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. — up to 90% travel.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues.
• Perform warranty and billable service work.
• Provide customer training and technical support.
• Document service activities and field reports.
• Collaborate with Sales PMs, Service Managers, and Technical Support.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional weekend/holiday work.
