Job summary
Nextech is seeking an Area Service Manager in Detroit to lead and develop our technician team. You will supervise field technicians, recruit talent, and align staffing with forecasted demand while maintaining safety and quality across service delivery.
In this role you will communicate with the Operations Manager and regional leaders, ensuring high performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policies. A strong HVAC background and leadership experience are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years as an HVAC Service Technician.
- Experience in managing technicians or a leadership role is a plus.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and hire technicians for the area.
- Supervise and develop the technician workforce.
- Forecast staffing needs and hire accordingly to meet demand.
- Ensure technician productivity meets targets and quality standards.
- Maintain customer relationships with regional sales and account managers.
- Lead weekly service meetings and track performance scores.
- Oversee safety compliance and company policies.
