Base pay range

$34.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and Maintain Equipment:
• Ensure the boiler system, purified water systems, HVAC, and air compressors are operating properly.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Perform regular upkeep on production and facility equipment such as air handlers, cold rooms, and the water-for-injection (WFI) system.
• Troubleshoot and fix lab equipment and general facility issues, such as HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Emergency Support:
• Be available 24/7 for on-call emergencies involving critical equipment.
• Facility Tasks:
• Handle basic tasks like painting, carpentry, setting up meeting rooms, and relocating equipment or furniture.
• Licensing Requirements:
• Must hold a Commonwealth of Massachusetts HVAC/Refrigeration certification, and preferably a boiler and wastewater license (or be willing to get one with employer support).

Education:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree (not mandatory)

Skills and Physical Requirements:

• Top Skills:
• 3+ years in HVAC or Refrigeration
• Experience with WFI (Water for Injection) systems
• Boiler operations and license (or willingness to obtain)
• General electrical and maintenance skills
• Wastewater license is a plus

Physical Work:

• Frequently lift 25–60 lbs, sometimes over 60 lbs
• Work in various environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, outdoors)
• Noise and protective equipment may be involved
