Job summary

thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components Danville is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and service on HVAC and facility systems at our Danville, IL site. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost control within a manufacturing environment.

You will work with Engineering and Safety teams to maintain equipment, manage work orders in CMMS, and support facility improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; minimum high school or GED with 2 years related experience.
• EPA Technician License Type—Universal required for HVAC responsibilities.
• Experience with Maximo and SAP is preferred for CMMS and maintenance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety and environmental policies.
• Perform PMs, service, and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Operate heavy equipment (AWP, forklifts, boom trucks, scissor lifts) as needed for high overhead tasks.
• Maintain CMMS records and assist with parts lists and procurement.
• Support Engineering with additions, improvements, and equipment installations.
