Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to work independently or with a team, including after-hours emergencies and coordination with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum EPA Universal 608 certification and HVAC/R knowledge.
• 3–5 years of HVAC or facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently or on a team and respond to emergencies.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems across campuses.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and equipment conditions.
• Diagnose, repair, and service boilers, air handlers, pumps, and related components.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls after hours as assigned.
• Operate and test refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment as allowed.
• Manage maintenance requests and track work using the system.
• Ensure building controls and thermostats maintain safe temperatures.
• Maintain locks and door hardware and perform authorized lock-related work.
• Work with vendors and contractors for major repairs.
• Uphold safety and organizational mission in all tasks.
