Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Orange, VA is seeking a Facilities Technician C (HVAC) for 2nd shift. The role maintains plant HVAC equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and assists with new equipment installations at our Culpeper-area site, a center of excellence for propulsion and energetics development.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with HVAC experience or an associate degree with HVAC experience, and strong electrical and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with HVAC experience, or 2-year post-secondary education with HVAC experience.
• Strong electrical experience and training in industrial equipment repair.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• General shop upkeep and organization per 6S standards.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
