Job summary

Walmart is seeking a licensed Manager/HVAC in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee preventive maintenance for a regional area. You will lead technicians, ensure safe and efficient buildings, and partner with store leadership to meet service goals.

Essential responsibilities include travel, licensing maintenance, vendor coordination, and reporting. A strong background in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal
• Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
• Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
• Communication/Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills – Root cause and breakdown analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Approximately 50% travel within the region and maintaining Mechanical Contractor Licenses
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as required
• Provide reporting and analytics on facility metrics
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and regulatory compliance
• Participate in training and site inspections for quality standards
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections per codes when applicable
