Job summary

Atlantic City Public School District is seeking a Maintenance Worker with HVAC experience to service and maintain district facilities and equipment. The role is a 12-month position located districtwide with responsibilities focused on ensuring safe, operational school environments for students and staff.

Qualified candidates will hold or obtain a Black Seal Boiler's License, possess a valid NJ driver’s license, and meet the physical requirements. A background check and U.S.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license required.
• Basic communication and computational skills required.
• Building, facilities and maintenance experience preferred.
• Meet physical requirements of the position.
• State licenses are highly desirable.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school plant, facilities and equipment in operating excellence and safety.
• Ensure facilities are ready for educational use at all times.
• Perform HVAC-focused maintenance and related duties as needed.
