Job summary

Henry County Schools in McDonough, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Operations division. You will perform duties across trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or site maintenance, following established codes, procedures, and district safety guidelines.

This full-time on-site role requires a high school diploma or HSE and a valid Georgia driver’s license. You’ll plan and order materials, document time and costs in the CMMS, and be available on-call 24/7 to

Qualifications

High school diploma or state-approved High School Equivalency (HSE) is required.
Valid State of Georgia driver's license is required.
Knowledge of trades systems and ability to use power tools and hand tools safely.
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance duties across trades (Horticulture, Site Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Preventative Maintenance, or Carpentry) per guidelines.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Plan, lay out, and order materials for maintenance projects.
Document job cost accounting using a CMMS.
Collaborate with other trades to complete assignments; may work outside of trade as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
