Job summary

The Schebler Company seeks a detail‑oriented HVAC Estimator & Project Manager to join our growing team. This role designs, estimates, and manages complete HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and industrial facilities, working closely with estimators, project managers, field leaders, and construction professionals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with building construction, HVAC systems, or mechanical estimating is a plus.
• Familiarity with interpreting mechanical plans and construction documents is valued.
• Experience in field installation or project coordination is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Owners, staff, contractors, and vendors to support bids.
• Review plans and bidding documents to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate estimates using estimating software and standard tools.
• Obtain material pricing, subcontractor quotes, and equipment selections for bids.
• Prepare professional, project‑specific proposals and quote packages.
• Manage projects including manpower planning, scheduling, procurement, and subcontract coordination.
• Monitor profitability through cost tracking and budget‑to‑actual comparisons.
• Coordinate with internal teams and attend job‑site meetings as needed.
