Job summary

CAVH HVAC in the United States seeks an Estimator to provide inside technical support, assisting Outside Sales Engineers in generating estimates for HVAC materials on commercial and industrial projects. You will analyze plans, price equipment, and craft competitive quotations.

This role requires 3+ years of HVAC experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with factories and sales teams to deliver accurate quotes on time.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or comparable industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in commercial HVAC products.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to generate accurate material quotations.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop strategic quotations.
• Create material take-offs from construction drawings using software.
• Select equipment and price based on specs and manufacturer data.
• Coordinate pricing with factories for pricing alignment.
• Maintain timely, accurate quotes through clear communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct initial plan reviews and coordinate with factories for pricing.
• Submit approval requests for special discounts and manage the bid list.
• Manage workload in a deadline-driven environment.
