Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC estimating experience, strong knowledge of HVAC systems and codes, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC estimating experience (commercial preferred).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and submit competitive proposals and bid packages.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project competitiveness.
