Job summary

Tom Barrow Company is seeking an Estimator to support our Sales Representatives on core HVAC product lines. The role focuses on preparing accurate and timely quotations from project specifications and drawings for commercial projects.

Responsibilities include pricing standard products, pricing data usage, and providing alternate options when needed, while managing multiple bids with strong organization and communication. Spanish-speaking preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaboration sales team.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and requests for quotation to generate accurate estimates on core HVAC equipment.
• Select and price standard products such as air distribution, packaged equipment, fans, and sheet metal items using manufacturer tools and pricing data.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to create and deliver strategic bids to contractors.
• Provide alternate product options when appropriate to meet project requirements.
• Manage multiple quotations simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Communicate with internal teams, factory representatives, and customers to ensure accurate information and support throughout the bidding process.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and sales support.
