Overview

The HVAC Estimator plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and generating detailed estimates and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings
• Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes
• Attend preconstruction site visits when applicable
• Assist with detailed estimates and proposals
• Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals
• Provide accurate estimates and proposals
• Partner closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing
• Assist with selection of contractors
• Participate in monthly project review meetings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of sales and/or HVAC experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills, organization, and time management

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting and computer use
• Occasional standing, walking, and reaching
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Specific vision abilities such as close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and navigate job sites to survey equipment
• Work may involve performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, or refrigerants
