Job summary

Dakota Mechanical in Columbus, OH is hiring an HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer to join our growing team. You will install residential and commercial systems, set equipment, install ductwork, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

You will read installation drawings, use hand and power tools, and collaborate with installers, technicians, and project managers to complete projects on schedule. EPA certification or HVAC training is a plus.

Qualifications

HVAC installation experience required.
Duct fabrication and installation experience.
Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
Ability to safely operate tools and equipment.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions.
EPA certification or HVAC training is a plus (but not required).

Responsibilities

Install HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components.
Install, modify, and seal duct systems according to plans and job specifications.
Perform equipment change-outs and new construction installations.
Read and interpret HVAC installation drawings and layouts.
Properly use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Work collaboratively with installers, technicians, and project managers to complete jobs on schedule.
Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail on every installation.
