Job summary

Haddad Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in Columbus, OH. You will install, replace, and commission commercial and industrial HVAC systems, reading blueprints and coordinating with managers and trades.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred), and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Competitive hourly pay plus strong benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience installing commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, package units, air handlers, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
• Install ductwork, refrigeration piping, gas piping, condensate drains, and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
• Assemble, install, and secure HVAC equipment per manufacturer recommendations and company standards.
• Test newly installed equipment to verify operation and performance.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate updates as needed.
• Deliver and transport equipment and materials to job sites when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
