Job summary

Airtron is hiring for a residential HVAC installer to lay out, fabricate, and set ductwork and equipment in occupied homes and active construction sites across Columbus, OH. You will test systems, ensure safe operation, and coordinate follow-ups to maintain full functionality.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC installation experience, and the ability to read plans. EPA certification and HVAC trade school training are a plus. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; HVAC installation experience preferred.
Comfort reading installation plans or documents.
Effective English communication, spoken and written.
Basic computer literacy to use a laptop/tablet/desktop.
EPA Certification and HVAC trade school certification help.

Responsibilities

Lay out, fabricate, and set ductwork and fittings; ensure secure, compliant installs.
Place and connect HVAC equipment per company requirements and manufacturer specs.
Test system operation and perform start‑ups on A/C units as needed.
Spot issues early and coordinate follow‑ups to ensure full functionality.
Document work clearly and timely; follow safety policies and site procedures.
Contribute to team by taking on additional duties as needed.
