Job summary

Mcafee Heating & Air Conditioning Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Technician to install residential heating and cooling systems, lead projects, and ensure safe, high-quality workmanship.

You will remove and replace equipment, modify ductwork, and document each installation while communicating clearly with homeowners. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, EPA 608 Type II certification, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II required; Universal preferred).
• NATE Certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Industry-leading pay: Hourly + Spiffs (D.O.E.).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Install residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Remove and replace HVAC equipment, including indoor and outdoor units.
• Install and modify ductwork as needed for system performance.
• Complete installations safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout each installation.
• Accurately complete all required job documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment installation and ductwork modifications
• Ability to install indoor and outdoor equipment with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of HVAC tools, testing devices, and installation best practices
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II required; Universal preferred)

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds.
