Job Description:The HVAC technician is a position in the Facilities Management department that requires extensive mastery of HVAC maintenance and repair. Regardless of specialty, an HVAC Technician III may be required to perform other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or assisting with other projects. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.Bending, lifting, stooping, crawling, laying, sitting, walking, climbing.Use of hand and power tools, proper use of hearing and eye protection.Exposure to extreme temperatures in nature, work in noisy or constricted spaces, exposure to odors and smells.Location:Nevada Central OfficeWork City:Las VegasWork State:NevadaScheduled Weekly Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
