Qualifications

  • Experience - At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in HVAC and utility equipment.
  • Certification - HVAC/PE related certification
  • Language skills - Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Computer skills - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar programs (reading and drawing)

Responsibilities

  • Facility inspection and technical support on HVAC and relevant systems.
  • Develop, manage and revise the facility operation manual.
  • Plan and execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly inspections.
  • Identify causes of facility abnormalities and evaluate technology.
  • Prepare abnormality reports for history and tracking.
  • Plan to optimize operation efficiency and energy usage.
  • Manage facility pipes (air, water supply, etc.).
  • Establish and manage annual maintenance/repair plans and budgets.
  • Review construction drawings and write simple specs for repairs.
  • Coordinate procurement and construction documents for new facilities.
  • Plan emergency trainings on disasters and power outages.

Job description

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Facility inspection and technical support on HVAC and relevant system
    • Review/repair the facility based on the requests received by the system
    • Develop/manage/revise the facility operation manual
    • Daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly facility inspection
    • Identify the cause of the facility abnormalities and review the technology
    • Prepare the reports of abnormalities to manage the history (if needed)
    • Plan to optimize the operation efficiency
    • Manage pipe (air, water supply, etc.)
  2. Maintenance Planning/Management, Investment planning
    • Establish and manage annual maintenance/repairment plan and budget
    • Request for renovation, and issue a purchase order (P/O)
    • Manage maintenance/repairment performance
    • Review construction drawings and make simple modifications (P&ID, etc)
    • Write down specifications for repairs and new construction, and write down construction documents for public use
    • Request for new facility's quotations and issue a construction purchase order
    • Manage facility investment performance
  3. Energy saving planning and Performance Management
    • Analyze the energy usage trends by each equipment
    • Identify energy saving potential items by equipment
    • Manage monthly energy saving performance (operating time applied)
  4. Government relations
    • Respond to regular court inspection on HVAC facilities
    • Review, check and rectify such that the facility meets local law and regulations
  5. Audit preparation and response
    • Create and manage documents on the facility required by PSM/ISO
    • Take appropriate measures to improve facility, and correct non-conformities specified by PSM/ISO
  6. Construction management/supervising
    • Supervise the HVAC facility construction (due to repair and extension of HVAC facility, or due to change of production line)
    • Request purchase of facility parts (purchase request)
    • Purchase order of construction materials
    • Inspect materials
  7. Emergency planning and Response
    • Plan and execute emergency trainings on natural disasters, lack of power, and release of harmful substances
Basic qualifications:
