Job summary

Certus is seeking part-time Electrical and HVAC instructors to teach 2–25 students in classroom and hands-on settings, traveling as needed. Instructors should have a strong electrical/mechanical background and field experience in commercial, residential, or production environments, with proficient use of MS Office and Zoom for virtual training.

Candidates must possess 10 years of Industrial Maintenance/Skilled Trades experience, outstanding presentation skills, and a customer-service mindset.

• Customer service mindset with ability and passion to share knowledge.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to manage training support equipment up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

Job Description

TPC Training, the Nation’s leader in practical skills training for: field technicians and maintenance workers, is looking for part time Electrical / HVAC instructors. Candidates should have strong electrical / mechanical background with field experience in commercial, residential and production environments. This Part Time position will require travel, and use of MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel). Experience with virtual training via Zoom platform is a plus. This Candidate should have the ability to instruct 2-25 students in a classroom setting with hands on and lecture in one or more of the following disciplines:

Compensation: $475- $600/per day teaching stipend. Company paid travel expenses, and 401K match.
