Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• 10+ years HVAC industry experience or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical, structural and design aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develops models and drawings including conceptual designs and new technologies using CAD.
• Provides technical and team leadership for the Mechanical Design Team and acts as liaison between the team and the Manager, Design.
• Reviews schematics for designs and makes design recommendations.
• Collaborates with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Supports manufacturing during prototypes and production launches to facilitate releases.
• Keeps pace with in-house order processing (SPAS) and participates in design standard development.
