Job summary

Actalent in Frederick, MD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and document electrical and electromechanical systems for commercial HVAC equipment, providing engineering support across application, fabrication, testing, installation and repair.

You will design power and control panels, select components, develop schematics and BOMs, and collaborate with sales, applications engineering, and production to ensure reliable, code-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electrical engineering in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD drafting and BOM processes.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical products and systems for HVAC equipment.
• Select and integrate electrical components for serial networks.
• Create engineering documentation including schematics and BOMs.
• Design test control equipment and testing methods.
• Provide engineering support to sales, marketing, and production.
• Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
