Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure required where applicable.
• At least 5 years industry experience within the last 10 years.
• Teaching experience or completion of new instructor training.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor per institutional and accreditation standards.
• Experience in proprietary education setting and knowledge of regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction with effective assessment and management techniques.
• Ensure materials meet learning objectives for each course.
• Prepare instructional materials/equipment and keep them in working order.
• Participate in faculty assessment and professional development including certification/licensure.
• Meet academic/administrative deadlines and analyze assessment data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
