Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure in field of instruction.
• 4+ years or more of practical instruction experience preferred.
• Master's degree or higher in content area for online faculty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational materials using sound educational practices.
• Lead engaging, student-centered instruction and provide tutoring as needed.
• Prepare materials and ensure equipment is ready for use.
• Participate in faculty assessment, professional development and licensure)
• Meet academic and administrative deadlines and analyze assessment data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal policies.

Education

Active certification or licensure

Minimum 5 years industry experience in last 10 years

Non‑Degree and Occupational Associate Degrees: 3 years practical work experience

Bachelor's or higher in technical/occupational field; master's required for online faculty

Eight years experience may substitute for some qualifications

General Education: master’s with 18 credit hours in subject

18 master’s credits in subject may be required

Prior teaching experience or training before teaching

Ability to qualify as instructor per standards
