Job summary
Matlock Mechanical, based in Jackson, TN, seeks an HVAC Ductwork Supervisor to own field operations and lead sheet metal crews on large-scale projects. This traveling role involves assignments throughout Tennessee and across the United States.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial sheet metal experience.
- At least 2 years of crew supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork installation.
- Experience with rectangular and spiral duct systems.
- Familiarity with roof curb installation and related equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
- Proven ability to lead field personnel and coordinate subcontractors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Responsibilities

Pay Range: $32-$45 per hour, based on experience Location: Company is based in Jackson, TN, but this role requires statewide and nationwide travel
Per Diem: Rate depends on the location of the project Schedule: 50+ hours per week
Matlock Mechanical is a well-established mechanical contractor headquartered in Jackson, TN, serving commercial and industrial customers throughout the United States. Our work is focused on large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects, including manufacturing plants and other demanding industrial facilities. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Ductwork Supervisor who can take ownership of field operations and lead sheet metal crews through successful project completion. This is a traveling position, with assignments located throughout Tennessee and across the country.
- At least five years of commercial or industrial sheet metal experience
- At least two years of experience leading or supervising crews
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork installation
- Experience working with rectangular and spiral duct systems
- Familiarity with roof curb installation and related equipment
- Ability to understand and work from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead field personnel and coordinate subcontractors
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments
- Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
