Green Mechanical Construction in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an experienced Commercial/Industrial HVAC Duct Foreman to lead ductwork installation and related mechanical construction on-site under a Superintendent or Project Manager. You will oversee crews, promote safety, and ensure quality work is completed efficiently and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HVAC ductwork or mechanical construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC ductwork or mechanical construction.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage commercial and industrial HVAC ductwork activities on mechanical construction job sites.
• Promote and enforce Green Mechanical’s safety policies and procedures.
• Interpret construction documents such as mechanical blueprints, duct layouts, equipment schedules, and specifications.

WhatYou'llDo:

AsaCommercial/IndustrialHVACDuctForeman,you'llleadandmanageHVACductworkinstallationandrelatedmechanicalconstructionactivitiesonjobsitesunderthedirectionofaSuperintendentorProjectManager.You’llberesponsibleforoverseeingductworkcrews,promotingjobsitesafety,andensuringqualityworkiscompletedefficientlyandonschedule.

KeyResponsibilities:

• OrganizeandmanagecommercialandindustrialHVACductworkactivitiesonmechanicalconstructionjobsites.
• PromoteandenforceGreenMechanical’ssafetypoliciesandprocedures.
• Interpretconstructiondocumentssuchasmechanicalblueprints,ductlayouts,equipmentschedules,andspecifications.
• Generatematerialtakeoffsandmanageductworkmaterialsonsitetomaintainproductivity.
• Superviseandleadductworkcrews,subcontractors,andsupportpersonnel.
• Monitorfieldproductivityandmanageallocatedlaborhours.
• CoordinateHVACductworkequipment,materials,anddeliveries.
• Coordinateductworkinstallationwithothermechanicalandconstructiontrades.
• Participateinprogressandcoordinationmeetings.
• Maintainnecessarycertificationsorlicensesapplicabletotherole.
• Completeandsubmitrequiredjobdocumentationandprogressreports.
• Performadditionaltasksasneededtosupportsuccessfulprojectdelivery.
