Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled HVAC Ductwork Installer to support Multifamily and Commercial Mechanical Construction projects in the Manassas area. This hands-on role focuses on sheet metal and air distribution installation across multiple project phases, coordinating with Field Leadership and other trades.

Ideal candidates have ductwork or sheet metal installation experience on multifamily or commercial sites, with the ability to read mechanical plans and understand sheet metal fittings, supports,

Qualifications

• HVAC ductwork or sheet metal installation experience.
• Experience on multifamily or commercial construction projects.
• Ability reading mechanical plans and drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fittings, supports, sealing and installation.
• Experience installing supply, return, exhaust and air distribution.
• Ability to safely work from ladders and lifts in active construction sites.

Job Details

As an HVAC Ductwork Installer, you will support Multifamily and Commercial Mechanical Construction projects with a focus on Sheet Metal and Air Distribution installation. This is a hands-on field position working with Ductwork systems throughout multiple phases of construction while coordinating with Field Leadership and other trades.

MUST HAVE

• Experience with HVAC Ductwork or Sheet Metal Installation
• Background working on Multifamily and/or Commercial Construction projects
• Experience with Ductwork Rough-In and Final Installation
• Ability to read Mechanical Plans, Drawings, and Construction DocumentsKnowledge of Sheet Metal fittings, supports, sealing, and installation practices
• Experience installing Supply, Return, Exhaust, and related Air Distribution systems
• Ability to safely work from ladders, lifts, and in active Construction environments

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with large Multifamily or Mixed-Use Construction projects
• Knowledge of VAV Systems, Exhaust Risers, and Corridor Ductwork
• Familiarity with Mechanical Codes and Air Balancing
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience coordinating HVAC installations with other Construction trades
