Job summary

JW Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking an HVAC Duct Install Apprentice to support residential duct installations and related tasks. The role involves working with a lead installer, gathering tools, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and educate customers on the new systems while delivering top-notch service. The position requires physical stamina and effective communication in a field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a general construction field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installer with residential duct work and gather parts and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the lead installer from start to finish.
• Conduct maintenance checks and preventive maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Document services performed and parts used.
