JW Plumbing, Heating & Air in the Greater Los Angeles area seeks an HVAC Duct Install Apprentice to assist lead installers on residential duct projects. You will gather parts, set up tools, and help ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years in a general construction field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong technical knowledge, problem solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in various conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installer with residential duct work and gather tools and parts to complete installations, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and educate customers on new systems, working with the lead installer to finish projects.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and repair work, and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
• Follow safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Document services performed and parts used with appropriate records.
