Upchurch is seeking a motivated Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our commercial construction team. You will assist with the installation, assembly, and fabrication of sheet metal and HVAC duct systems while learning under Journeymen and Foremen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sheet metal, HVAC, or commercial construction experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or craft training preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and work in a commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and assembly of commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and instructions provided by supervisors.
