Job summary

The role requires 2+ years of CAD drafting experience, AutoCAD/REVIT training or certification, and an AAS or a 1-year CAD-focused certificate. Strong communication and learning ability are essential.

Qualifications

• AAS degree or 1-year CAD-focused certificate from a community college or technical school.
• 2+ years CAD drafting experience with AutoCAD/REVIT training or certification.
• Must make autonomous decisions based on project requirements.
• Develop knowledge of permitting submittals in the Mechanical field.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed schematics for HVAC systems per engineers' instructions.
• Assist in job site surveys to gather as-built technical information.
• Draft and develop layouts for mechanical systems under guidance.
• Convert field surveys into plan formats using AutoCAD.
• Maintain CAD libraries and CAD standards; support project improvements.
• Assist with printing/scanning, submittal packages, and work scope prep.
