You will assist Engineers and team members on diverse projects across commercial, industrial, government, healthcare, and education sectors, using AutoCAD and REVIT to generate detailed HVAC layouts, surveys, and CAD standards. Qualifications

• AAS or 1-year CAD certificate from a community college or technical school focusing on CAD software, design fundamentals, and blueprint reading.
• 2+ years of CAD drafting experience with AutoCAD/REVIT drafting training/certification enrollment or completion.
• Must make autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing detailed schematics for HVAC systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Assist Mechanical Engineers by participating in job site surveys to gather as-built technical information.
• Draft and develop layouts for mechanical systems based on direction from Mechanical Engineers.
• Convert field surveys into usable formats for plan and project development. Use AutoCAD to develop plans.
• Participate in the company’s project improvement process by maintaining/improving CAD Detail Library and CAD Standards.
