Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a draftsman.
• Proficient knowledge of CAD software and other drafting tools.
• Excellent technical design skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Diploma in drafting, engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in site planning or related field.
• Knowledge of zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed computer-aided design drawings as per the instructions and specifications provided by the engineers.
• Revising and updating existing drawings reflecting design changes.
• Ensuring final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand and implement project objectives.
• Checking drawings for mistakes and inaccuracies.
• Creating and altering construction sketches.
• Follow project schedules and deadlines.
• Maintaining organized work files and project documentation.
• Conduct site assessments to determine suitability for development.
• Ensure compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to mitigate potential project challenges.
