Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Drafter in Buffalo Grove, IL to support the design and construction of mechanical and HVAC systems. You will develop accurate drawings, layouts, and models used throughout the project lifecycle and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to turn concepts into coordinated, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree, technical certificate, or coursework in drafting, CAD, mechanical design, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with computer-aided drafting concepts.
• Basic knowledge of construction terminology.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
