Job summary

Crete United is seeking a Lead HVAC engineer to design and document mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will lead calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents, and coordinate Revit-based models with the project team.

The role requires a PE license (or ability to obtain Illinois licensure) and at least five years of building HVAC design experience, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required or equivalent.
• Active Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain Illinois licensure).
• Minimum five years of building HVAC design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC engineering design and prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications for projects.
• Develop and coordinate Revit-based mechanical models and support construction activities.
• Manage deliverables and team members while collaborating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Lead HVAC engineering design and prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents for commercial and industrial projects. Develop and coordinate Revit-based mechanical models, support construction activities, manage project deliverables and team members, and collaborate with contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, an active Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain Illinois licensure), and at least five years of building HVAC design experience. Candidates must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, mechanical BIM coordination, applicable codes, and commercial or industrial HVAC design and construction documentation.
